Many Clouds was the Aintree 17:55 Grand National favorite at solid 6-1 odds followed by Shutthefrontdoor at 10-1 odds.

Despite the huge filed of over 30, Many Clouds was seeing just over 60 percent of the betting action.

Sporting Life writes of Many Clouds:

Many Clouds almost rewrote the record books when winning this as an eight-year-old under 11st 9lb 12 months ago. It was a performance almost on a par with Red Rum's second victory over the Aintree fences and who's to say that Oliver Sherwood's smart stayer won't come out on top again as he's been laid out for the contest- he became the first National winner in many a year to win a race the following season when successful at Kelso last month.

As far as the fluctuations go, betting markets have Agent Louise seeing a massive 13.1 percent market share swing from 8-1 opening odds to 11-4 current.

Agent Louise was put up 10lb after winning over course and distance a couple of weeks ago but is an out-and-out stayer so a follow-up is not out of the question, Sporting Life suggests.
