Coming into the start of the week, Collected was listed with 3/1 odds of winning the 2017 Breeders Cup Classic.
Collected looked fantastic in this past weekend’s workouts, going through six furlongs in 1:13.40 in his final drill.
“This is a very good horse that is dangerous,” said former champion jockey Richard Migliore, analyzing the workout for Xpressbet TV, “particularly if they forget about him and Arrogate starts worrying too much about Gun Runner and Gun Runner starts worrying too much about Arrogate.”
Outside of a horrid 10th place finish at the Preakness Stakes, Collected has finished first in six races over that seven-race span.
