Belmont Stakes

The Belmont Stakes figures to have a much better lineup than next weekend’s Preakness Stakes.

Trainers are reticent to run the horses with that short a turnaround in the Triple Crown. There is hope that they will add an extra week in between the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness starting in 2027.

The oddsmakers at BetOnline.ag opened odds for the Belmont Stakes and Renegade is the favorite with Derby winner Golden Tempo tied for second with Chief Wallabee.
