ALPHA CENTAURI has won both of her assignments so far with consummate ease and beat the Ballydoyle hopeful, Actress, on both occasions. Jessica Harrington's highly-rated filly will take some stopping here. Fairyland and Princess Peggy are interesting American raiders for Wesley Ward's yard and it remains to be seen how well they will adapt to the Turf while Clemmie is probably the pick of the Aidan O’Brien contingent. But she will need to step up significantly from her debut to make an impact here while the unbeaten Natural faces very different underfoot conditions from those she enjoyed when winning at Doncaster. Black Sails was an easy winner of an interesting race at the Curragh and has the potential to be involved at the finish, as does Madeline, who stepped up notably on her debut performance when winning at Goodwood. Jeremy Noseda has a good record in this race and Take Me With You is also one to watch while the selection's stablemate Whitefountainfairy was running on strikingly when winning her maiden and can’t be dismissed.
