Warriors 2nd Shortest Odds to Win Championship

The Golden State Warriors managed to put the Sacramento Kings away in Game 7.

Stephen Curry set a Game 7 scoring record with 50 points as the defending champion Warriors easily advance to the next round with a 120-100 road win.

The Warriors currently pay $600 on a $100 bet should they win the 2023 NBA Championship.  These are the second shortest odds after the Boston Celtics despite Golden State owning just a 44-38 record and 39-41-2 Against The Spread.  They have gone 12-5 straight up since March 20.

Series odds between the Warriors and Lakers have Golden State as the -150 favorite compared to +130 for LA.  The Warriors will enjoy home court advantage in this round of the playoffs.

Warriors-Kings Series

The Kings won Game 1 of their series versus the reigning NBA champs Golden State.  That victory was 126-123 with Sacramento covering the +1 point line.  Gambling911 had the Kings -1.5 in that one.  With the Kings up 2-0 after Game 2, the Warriors were listed as a -6 home favorite.

The Warriors were playing without suspended Draymond Green and ill Gary Payton II but still managed to beat Sacramento in Game 3.  Golden State followed that game up with two more wins before dropping one in Game 6.  Sacramento lost Game 4 by a single point.
