California Governor Gavin Newsom's national profile is rising fast, and the oddsmakers are seeing the ripple effect among the betting public.

Newsom’s interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News made waves across social media, and BetOnline is reporting that its 2024 Election market has seen plenty of support on his odds since.

Last Monday, Newsom had 22/1 odds to be elected President of the United States in 2024. Over the last week, his presidential odds have plummeted and are currently being offered at 12/1.

Newsom has repeatedly said he has no interest in running for president.  He also admits to being a regular viewer of Fox News.

"We need more of these kinds of conversations, and we need to not just accuse each other of misleading the American people, but I think confront each other in the context of providing opportunities to address some of the facts that are often omitted in terms of the conversations and topics we choose to pick up," Newsom said.

Biden is still the overall favorite to be re-elected, but his odds slightly decreased during the last week. And despite all of his legal woes, Donald Trump Sr. continues to tighten his grip on the GOP nomination and second spot in the 2024 odds. Trump's chances have improved from 3/1 to 2/1.
