Woman Shoots Man Dead at Casino After Attempted Armed Robbery

A suspect in an attempted robbery of an armored car in front the Hon-Dah Casino outside of Phoenix, Arizona was shot dead.

According to the FBI, an armored car was making a courier stop in front of the casino in Pinetop around 10 a.m. when a man approached the cash carrier and sprayed him with a chemical substance. 

The cash carrier then drew her weapon and fired, hitting the suspect and killing him, according to the FBI.

The Bureau of Indian Affairs, the Pinetop Police Department, and the Navajo County Sheriff's Office are aiding in the investigation.
