Trump vs. Meloni Prop Bets Now Up

Here's the gist of yesterday's major World Cup news in case you missed it:

USA striker Folarin Balogun was red-carded in the Round of 32 for an accidental but dangerous foul, triggering a mandatory one-match ban. USMNT accepted the ban and planned for Belgium without Balogun. But FIFA suddenly suspended the ban for a year, allowing him to play on.

Soon after, Donald Trump thanked FIFA on Truth Social, and a source said he'd personally asked FIFA President Gianni Infantino to review the call.

Political interference seems likely...though we'll never know for sure. Many are claiming that the move has tainted the tournament's integrity and overshadowed the team's efforts, leaving much of the world now rooting against the U.S. side.

Sportsbooks will continue to root against USMNT simply due to the lopsided action they are taking. BetOnline.ag reported this morning that 80% of the money wagered on tonight's game is on the home team.

Along with the match odds, BetOnline is also offering a unique prop bet that asks what President Trump will blame a USMNT loss on. There are some interesting options on the board below.

Finally, Trump’s feud with Italy Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni ahead of NATO summit tomorrow has resurfaced.

Earlier today, Trump posted a doctored image of himself and Meloni with the caption "RESTRAINING ORDER NEEDED" in the latest escalation between to the two leaders.
