Indiana Gaming Commission Director Leaves Post to Take Job With Sports Betting App Fliff

On Wednesday Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb announced that Indiana Gaming Commission (IGC) Executive Director Greg Small will be leaving his post on Sept. 20 after three years serving as Director.

Now we are learning what his next job will be.

Small confirmed his resignation via LinkedIn and also announced he will be taking a job with Fliff, which bills itself as a social sports picks app that many believe closely resembles sports betting.

“I have accepted a role with Fliff Inc. to become the Head of Legal & Government Affairs. I will begin working with Matt Ricci and the Fliff team later this month. It’s an exciting opportunity and I cannot wait to get to work,” he wrote.

Maine's Top Gambling Regulator Under Fire

Maine casino inspectors have voted no confidence in Champion as head of gambling unit.

They say Milton Champion has fostered a toxic workplace, refused to negotiate with their union and circumvented the Maine Gambling Control Board.

The union said all nine casino inspectors that work for the state signed a letter they submitted. The letter isn’t addressed to anyone in particular and Champion hasn't responded to the allegations when approached by the Press Herald.

“We must make it known that Milton Champion has repeatedly shown a lack of respect for our legal rights and processes spelled out in our union contract, has retaliated against us individually and as a group, and has created a deeply dysfunctional and toxic workplace environment,” the letter states.
