Trump and Epstein Updated Betting Markets

Trump pushed back against his supporters Wednesday as part of a fiery Truth Social post, then doubled down - even tripled down - during a late morning press conference.

My "PAST supporters have bought into this “bulls---” hook, line, and sinker," he said in the post, adding, "Let these weaklings continue forward and do the Democrats work, don’t even think about talking of our incredible and unprecedented success, because I don’t want their support anymore!"

Trump's ire is likely directed more at far right podcasters, radio and television hosts as well as some more vocal Republican politicians.

This month, the Justice Department published a memo determining that there was no evidence of an “incriminating ‘client list" related to the now dead convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, prompting renewed consternation in MAGA world. MAGA refers to the American political slogan "Make America Great Again" and is often used to classify a large chunk of Trump's base.

Attorney General Pam Bondi has faced much of the MAGA wrath.

Trump has strongly defended Bondi from that criticism, saying on Saturday, “What’s going on with my ‘boys’ and, in some cases, ‘gals?’ They’re all going after Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is doing a FANTASTIC JOB!”

Her odds of leaving the Trump administration this year remained below 25 percent.

Epstein accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell has seen her chances of testifying before congress rise 5 percent from 14% to 19% over the last 24 hours.  Maxwell is currently serving a prison sentence in Florida.
