While nothing is official yet, Steve Kerr could be leaving the Warriors
Favorites to replace him include Gators head coach Todd Golden and former Bulls head coach Billy Donovan
Both men pay around $300 for every $100 bet should they be named the next head coach at Golden State
It sure will be strange if Steve Kerr isn’t the head coach of the Golden State Warriors next season.
Kerr and Curry, it felt like they would be forever linked as coach and player, but the latest reports out of the Bay Area indicate the coach could call it here.
BetOnline.ag has created “next coach odds” for the Warriors, should Kerr and the organization part ways before the 2026-27 season.
There are 22 names on the list, and the two hottest are on top in Todd Golden and Billy Donovan.
Of note, there are two women on the list as Natalie Nakase has joined Becky Hammon in these types of head coach markets.
The early favorite, but with competitive odds, is Todd Golden at 3-1.
The Florida Gators head coach has been linked as a potential target for the Golden State Warriors should Steve Kerr leave, though Golden has shot down these rumors saying he is "definitely planning on coaching the Gators" in the 2026-27 season.
Billy Donovan is practically a co-favorite at 7-2 odds.
The former Bulls head coach is reportedly keeping close tabs on the Warriors' coaching situation.
Warriors assistance coach Kenny Atkinson is very much in the mix at 6-1 odds.
