According to the bill’s text, “Gambling – As introduced, designates illegal gambling and related activities as a violation of the Tennessee Consumer Protection Act; expands the authority of the sports wagering council to investigate illegal gambling and gaming activity; expands the investigative authority of the attorney general and reporter to investigate unlawful activity within the purview of the attorney general and reporter. – Amends TCA Title 4; Title 4, Chapter 49; Title 8, Chapter 6, Part 4; Title 40, Chapter 2, and Title 47.”
If passed, HB 1885 would make each violation of the law subject to a civil fine of up to $15,000.

A customer out of Illinois is claiming he has received the runaround from social gambling site BetR.
I deposited $999,1999,1999,499,999,1999 etc got my ass kicked on the website was down over 10k. I turned my balance into 26k. Cashed out 3k they paid cashed out 5k they locked my account requested documents I happily provided. They said I deposited in another person name… , I used my card first…then my mom card (it’s a joint account with me) , after showing that making it grounds it was acceptable
They said my device was linked to multiple users and I violated terms and conditions , I never had a betr account, nobody ever used my phone ever or WiFi, I just got the brand new iPhone weeks ago and recently download betr. This is 100% false. Not even close.
In addition , I just heard from a friend who said BetR kept 2000$ he had in his account because he deposited with his card but it was a joint account with his wife but they said that is violation terms and kept the money.
