Stanley Cup Finals Series Payout Odds: Vegas Golden Knights vs. Carolina Hurricanes

The Vegas Golden Knights are trying to win the Stanley Cup with the fewest points (in a full season) since the lockout of 2005.

They had 95 regular season points, while the 2008-09 Penguins had 99

And despite sweeping the Colorado Avalanche, the Golden Knights are still underdogs to the Carolina Hurricanes.

Stanley Cup Finals

Vegas Golden Knights +130

Carolina Hurricanes -150

Note: The current line implies a 60% probability of the Canes winning Lord Stanley’s Cup.

One note I found very interesting was even though VGK are underdogs in this series, their star player Mitch Marner is the favorite to win the Conn Smythe Trophy.
