With the Kentucky Derby winner not racing in the second leg of the Triple Crown and a noticeable lack of competition, the Preakness Stakes this weekend did not translate into a major betting event as has been the case in previous years here at Gambling911.com. Still, a few of the top 10 queries coming to the site were Preakness Stakes-related, so hardly a total letdown. Six of the top ten queries were related to Saturday's race. Eight of the top 25 search queries were related to the PGA Championship.

Can Thomas Massie Hold on? Kentucky Primary Betting Expected to Be Hot Ahead of Tuesday
Sunday May 17, 2026 (9:16 pm EDT)
Representative Thomas Massie is set to face off against Trump-backed challenger Ed Gallrein in the Republican primary for Kentucky’s 4th Congressional District Tuesday May 19 and polls show a close race for the solidly conservative seat. Massie is one of the most conservative members of Congress but has been at odds with President Donald Trump over foreign policy and the Department of Justice’s handling of the Epstein files. The clash, amplified by the involvement of wealthy conservative donors, highlights a deeper struggle over the future direction of the Republican Party.
