Harris pulls Even With Trump Among Swing State Voters

Vice President Harris has erased former President Trump’s lead in seven key battleground states roughly a week after becoming the likely Democratic nominee.

A Bloomberg News/Morning Consult poll showed Harris and Trump in a tight race across all battleground states, with 48 percent backing Harris and 47 percent saying they support Trump.

Tuesday’s poll showed Harris opening up an 11-point lead on Trump in Michigan, a 2-point lead in Nevada, a 2-point lead in Arizona and a 2-point lead in Wisconsin.

Trump, meanwhile, led Harris by 4 points in Pennsylvania and 2 points in North Carolina. The candidates were tied in Georgia at 47 percent support.

The poll surveyed 4,973 registered voters from July 24-28. It has a margin of error of 1 percentage point.

And the odds?

Harris had her shortest odds yet at +120 overnight Tuesday.  Trump was coming in at -130.

DraftKings Discontinues Its NFT-based Fantasy NFL Game, Reignmakers

DraftKings has discontinued its NFT-based fantasy NFL game, Reignmakers, and its associated NFT marketplace, citing 'legal developments.' This decision follows a class action lawsuit alleging that the company sold NFTs as unregistered securities, which was allowed to proceed after a court denied DraftKings' motion to dismiss the lawsuit. The court suggested that the NFTs could be considered investment contracts and thus securities under the Howey test. DraftKings plans to offer compensation to affected users, although details on the compensation process and pricing remain unclear. This move is part of a broader trend of companies facing legal challenges related to the classification of NFTs as securities.  Read More Here
