One of our favorite Twitter peeps has returned from a much needed respite.

Alfonso Straffon is someone we follow for all the latest news in the world of gambling, along with of course our long time friend Jackie Clevfan.

Alfonso returned with a bang, offering his take on the state hold comparisons for U.S. regulated sportsbooks.

"Now you can see how the cookie crumbles," he writes.

"For those wondering how operators performed in December in terms of gross hold %s... These 12 states, AZ, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MA, MD, MI, NY, OH, and PA, disclose mobile handle + revenue by operator and account for ~65% of the national aggregate... this allows us to create a nice composite index to track over time, along with good ole' relative performance..."

Be sure to follow Alfonso here.

Clevfan, meanwhile, is a complete machine when it comes to getting news up.  She's been doing it for over 20 years now.

If there is a scoop in the world of sports betting, she's got it.

Then there is pro sports gambler Elf.  His Twitter Space is off the charts good.  Some have referred to Elf as "The Jerry Springer of Sports Betting".

We saw all the Who's Who of Sports Betting in there the other night during a broadcast that went from 250 listeners to more than 3500 when "Walking Bets Girl" Taylor Mathis joined in to take on former Barstools personality and podcaster Jeff Nadu.  Good stuff.

Elf mostly exposes scammers in the world of sports betting.

Big Tone Here referred to Elf's Twitter Spaces broadcast as "Gambler's Anonymous for people who are never going to quit gambling."
