Summerlin Resort sportsbook opening

Former VGK defenseman Deryk Engelland placed the ceremonial first bet at the brand new Caesars Race & Sportsbook at The Resort at Summerlin on Tuesday.

Caesars announced the opening.

"We’re thrilled to celebrate the official grand opening of the Caesars Race & Sportsbook at The Resort at Summerlin (@RampartCasino), bringing a premium, high‑energy sports wagering and viewing experience to the Summerlin Community."

The new Caesars Race & Sportsbook is now open on the casino floor, offering guests an elevated sports wagering and viewing experience powered by Caesars’ market-leading technology. Designed to deliver an immersive game day experience, the nearly 6,000-square-foot sportsbook currently features a new video wall and will add a cutting-edge 360-degree LED video display at the expanded sportsbook bar, scheduled for completion ahead of summer 2026. Twenty Caesars Sportsbook self-service betting kiosks are located inside the sportsbook and throughout the casino, giving guests access to thousands of betting markets that mirror the options available on the Caesars Sportsbook mobile app.

For the first time at a physical sportsbook location in Summerlin, sports fans can now complete in-person registration for the Caesars Sportsbook mobile app, as well as make convenient mobile cash deposits and withdrawals.

“Opening Caesars Race & Sportsbook at The Resort at Summerlin is a significant milestone for our brand in Las Vegas,” said Eric Hession, President of Caesars Digital. “This location allows us to better serve sports fans in the Summerlin community with a retail and mobile experience that reflects the quality, depth and innovation that define Caesars Sportsbook.”

“Our guests have been asking for this, and we’re proud to officially open Caesars Race & Sportsbook as part of the continued evolution of The Resort at Summerlin,” said Michelle McHugh, Vice President and General Manager of The Resort at Summerlin. “As the first Caesars Race & Sportsbook in Summerlin, this opening underscores the strength of our market, and we’re excited to offer an experience that resonates with locals and visitors alike.”

Outstanding Establishment

The resort is managed by JW Marriott and receives a 4.4 star rating overall on Google.

Here are some recent reviews.

"I love this hotel! Everything was great! The rooms were clean, the service was great, the room service was quick (expensive though), very little hallway noise, super comfy beds. We even utilized the spa and booked a massage...which was perfection. I had also booked a hair appointment as we were in town for a wedding. That was cancelled as the only person available called out sick. That was a little annoying, but not catastrophic. I was still sad when we checked out to go to our next hotel on the strip. Haha! Great stay and would highly recommend!"

"Went here for a dental confernce and it was AMAZING! A few great perks: 1) not on the strip, 2) very spacious/clean/comfortable room, 3) beautiful outside grounds, and 4) all the staff that I encountered were EXTREMELY helpful/welcoming/friendly (everyone from the person who took my suitcase out of my uber, to the maid, to the room service delivery person). Next time I come to Vegas, I would definitely want to stay at this exact hotel again! Thanks for a wonderful trip. My only complaint, my trip was too short and wish I had more days to spend in Vegas!!!"

"Great service starting from check in - Marcus went out of his way. Thank you for the champagne. The Palms Tower Suite was beautiful! The hotel has been updated-very much appreciated. New upscale dining options. However too many gambling stations added - takes away from resort feel."
