The Aria Casino Las Vegas casinos crashed shortly ahead of the 4 pm check-in rush, leading to utter chaos at and around the front desk Sunday evening.

Las Vegas Locally tweeted the scene.

"The computers are down at the ARIA. Nobody panic."

Aria had yet to post anything on its relatively inactive Twitter page as of late Sunday night.

Fears of Another Cyber Attack

Last fall, Caesars and MGM came under a massive cyber attack affected room key access, slot machines and ATMs, among other things.  Thus far, some visitors to the Aria Las Vegas have confirmed their room keys are indeed working at least. Once again, there are no early indications that the situation at Aria Las Vegas has anything to do with a cyber attack.

During the MGM crisis, the group claiming responsibility, ALPHV, had this to say:

"We believe MGM will not agree to a deal with us.  Simply observe their insider trading behavior.  You believe this company is concerned with your privacy and well-being while visiting one of their resorts?

"We are not sure about anyone else, but it is evident from this that no insiders have purchased any stock in the past 12 months, while 7 insiders have sold shares for a combined 33 million dollars. This corporation is riddled with greed, incompetence and corruption."
