Affiliate group Good Game Ltd on Tuesday revealed that a total of 111 depositing players have been “untagged” by 10Bet.com, an online gambling site he promoted out of Finland.

Good Game Ltd head Jonas issued the ominous post on the Affiliate Guard Dog website.

Noting that the move was taken against both sportsbook and casino players, Jonas added: “Let's work together and only promote sustainable and reliable operators.”

Untagging is the practice of no longer crediting an affiliate with said players.

In an ironic twist, 10Bet.com was recently nominated for “Best Affiliate Program” at the IGB Affiliates Awards.  10Bet typically employs a large presents at tournaments and conference events within Europe.

Jonas followed up with the following post (with the thread having the potential to get hot):

When an affiliate delivers a player to an operator, it shouldn't matter if they deposit tomorrow or 5 years later, the revenue share should stay intact as agreed. When you make money, we make money – this is what partnership is all about.

The issue is that the affiliate program terms are too loose at the moment for the operators to meddle with. I believe later we will see more written contracts between affiliates and operators. This is, of course, unfortunate as no one likes the extra paperwork.

About regulation, it has not changed.

A direct quote from 10Bet:

"i dont see us on any of your sites anymore, so the RS will be removed"

Where players are considered, 10Bet.com has received mostly favorable reviews, though the top three reviews at AskGamblers are pretty brutal.  We won’t publish them here.
