Last July, President Trump alluded to a UFC event at the White House to celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States.
In August, Dana White confirmed it was a done deal.
The initial thought was that it would be on July 4, but President Trump announced the event would take place on the South Lawn on June 14 to coincide with his 80th birthday, and that it would be dubbed "UFC Freedom 250."
All politics aside, I don’t think anyone would argue that Trump has a huge ego. So, I expected this card at the White House to be absolutely loaded.
I find it underwhelming. That said, I do expect a significant amount will be wagered on Saturday night’s fights and the plethora of props surrounding it.
