Jase Richardson dunking basketball

We're closing in on the 75th NBA All-Star Game as this season is flying by.

While the trade deadline came and went without Giannis or Ja being traded, the league did spark some interest during Super Bowl weekend by finalizing the Slam Dunk and 3-Point contest fields.

An interesting wrinkle for the latter, Damian Lillard is among the eight-man field. Lillard hasn't played a minute of basketball this season (and isn't expected to), but will get some TV time and shots up during the break. Oh, he's won the event twice and opens as the favorite this year.

And, sadly, Mac McClung will not be defending his Slam Dunk title in a bid for an unprecedented four-peat champion.

Jase Richardson, who is the son of two-time Slam Dunk champ Jason Richardson, is listed as the 2026 favorite
