What Are the Payout Odds - Travis Kelce Super Bowl MVP

Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes are pretty much co-favorites to be named 2023 Super Bowl MVP at between +120 and +130 odds.  The true betting value, however, might just be on the Chiefs Travis Kelce.  He pays out $1200 for every $100 bet.

Kelce was instrumental in advancing his team to the playoffs despite playing with an injury and his status ahead of the AFC Championship game questionable.  He secured seven of eight targets for 78 yards and a touchdown in the Chiefs' 23-20 win over the Bengals.

What makes Kelce an even bigger value play in the 2023 Super Bowl is the potential for the Chiefs to be without wideouts JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee), Kadarius Toney (ankle) and Mecole Hardman (pelvis), thus ensuring more of a workload for Kelce.

If you think maybe these injuries will result in a Chiefs loss and deprive Kelce of the MVP award, consider that Patrick Mahomes has only lost twice to NFC teams during the regular NFL season (once to the Seahawks and once to the Rams).  He's lost once in the post season to an NFC team and that was in the 2021 Super Bowl against Tom Brady's Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
