TopBet Slow Payouts Complaints Blamed on Processing Issues

A series of slow payouts complaints related to three-year-old Manila-based online sportsbook TopBet.eu have begun filing in to the industry monitoring site SportsBookReview.com, prompting concerns from sports bettors.  Update: April 25, 2015 - Some affected players report receipt of payments

The company, which has enjoyed a mostly untarnished reputation over its lifespan, tells SBR that these complaints are due primarily to a “processing issue” related to a debit card.

One player had been waiting for $2,500 since March 16.

From SBR:

SBR followed up with Topbet, who claimed that the number was completely arbitrary and there was no basis to what the player was allegedly told. Management claimed that the players could not choose to cancel the payouts for a quicker alternative because the payouts are too far along with the processor to be voided; in other words, the belief is that players would be paid twice. But right now, players say they are not being paid at all.

Processing issues with North American-facing online gambling websites continue to be common though not as extensive as in years past.

TopBet.eu has resolved past processing issues to the satisfaction of players.  Other players have reported payouts in a timely fashion from TopBet.eu.
