Sports Betting Billy Walters on FBI Probe: ‘I Am Innocent of Doing Anything Wron

Legendary sports betting professional Billy Walters spoke to CNBC on Tuesday insisting he did nothing wrong in regard to an insider trading probe.  Walters, billionaire investor Carl Icahn and golfer Phil Nickelson have each been tied to the ongoing FBI and SEC investigation.  Nickelson said over the weekend that he is fully cooperating with the Feds.

The three men are alleged to have engaged in suspicious trading activities involving Clorox, a company Icahn was on the verge of buying at the time of the said trades.

Walters, who is unanimously considered the best sports gambler in Vegas, gave a rare interview to CNBC.

"I am innocent of doing anything wrong. It's that simple," Walters told CNBC. "Those who know me best know that it is preposterous to think that I would involve myself in insider trading."

The video report from CNBC appears below.
