LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Associated Press) - A professional poker player who wants to put a casino legalization measure on the ballot has submitted more signatures to state election officials. But it's unclear whether she'll be able to put her proposal before voters this fall.

Nancy Todd submitted 121,503 additional signatures to the secretary of state's office on Wednesday in an effort to put her proposed casino amendment on the ballot. Election officials last month said she had turned in 23,616 verified signatures, falling short of the 78,113 from registered voters required. She was given until Wednesday to submit additional signatures.

Election officials last week rejected the wording of Todd's proposal, which would give her exclusive rights to operate casinos in four Arkansas counties. Todd has proposed revised language for the amendment.
