As Gambling911.com first reported a few weeks back, Aced.com, a Merge Poker Network room, was refusing to pay certain players, claiming the funds were held by outside payment processing platform, PIC Club Poker.  Now comes word that yet another Merge room is not paying.

The poker room in question is Poker Nordica.  But this one we would like to update our readers on has a happy ending, having been remedied rather quickly after our initial report.

Here is the complaint received by Gambling911.com:

"I am an online poker player and I am having trouble collecting

$711 dollars from a Merge poker site.I made a cash withdrawal on 10/15/09 and

still havent received my money. I keep getting "the check's in the mail"

from them but, still have not received it."

Poker Nordica did not use the same excuse as Aced.com, a website represented by 2006 World Series of Poker winner Jamie Gold.  Poker Nordica's CEO Mike Eloff acknowledges there were issues that needed to be addressed, mostly with the network itself.  Mr. Eloff has vowed to ensure his brand remains reputable.
