Jenny Woo Back From Amsterdam Part II

Hey ya'll!  I'm back from Amsterdam and got some much needed rest in Jenny's bed - two weeks worth lol.  I have to say that it was all worth it because I got to hang out with some old friends, including my 2005 dancing partner, Simon Eaton (Zynk Media).  Jenny also made some really awesome new friends who made this trip even more memorable.  However, I think I may have turned over a new leaf and proved myself this time around to my editor, Chris Costigan, by not using my hangovers as an excuse.  It's just too bad that he thinks that I'm boring now.  WTF?  Like I said before, damned if I do and damned if I don't.

Now let's see where was I in my last article - ah yes - the Euro Bar for the Affiliates Drink Free party.  I had every intention of having just one glass of wine but couldn't help getting20my arm twisted for yet another and another and.....well you get the picture.  After hanging out with such fine people like Jeffrey Korman, Nick Yap (Casinocoins.com), Sabrina Hashmi and Adriaan Brink (US Blackjack.com) (just to name a few), Jenny needed to clean up a bit and get ready for yet another party/night out.  It was to be a party in my room (no not that kind of party) as I had invited the guys from Westside Connection to drink it up with the best of the best.  We stocked my room with tons of liquor and in the end I completely got shafted.  Like I said before, that story is coming.  Needless to say, Jenny ended up passing out a bit early.  WTF?

Well rested, Hans Van Niekerk (Mini Vegas Group), Thomas Jensen and I were craving some sushi so we broke from the pack and found Zushi, a fresh fast food version for sushi.  Feeling satisfyingly stuffed, we made our way over to the club, Jimmy Woo's (Jenny's long lost cousin), for some after dinner cocktails and to meet up with the rest of the pack including Adriaan and Jenny's partner in crime, Rebecca Liggero (Casinocitytimes.com).  What a night that turned out to be.  With a double vodka and tonic in hand I staked my claim on a certain section of the club (VIP section) to be the official party table and a party it was.  I have to say I remember most of the night but could tell things were getting a little fuzzy as the night went on.  Oh what a hangover Jenny would have.

I figured that I could sleep in a bit on Wednesday as all was shut down late afternoon on Tuesday for the CAC conference and I really was hung over from Tuesday night's events.  Rebecca rounded up all the stragglers (who didn't leave Wednesday morning) for dinner and a sex show (she knows how to get the guy's attention) including T.J., Chris (who finally graced us with his presence after being sick for 2 days), Richard  & Johnny (Bodog), Jorge Barahona (DoylesRoom.com), Eric Almquist, Steven Corfman, and Rebecca's boss, Michael A. Corfman.  Dinner was courtesy of Marc Lesnick at a French restaurant nearby the hotel and yes we walked there this time as we learned our lesson from the Supper Club.

I had originally planned to be a good little girl Wednesday night but I (along with Steven Corfman) easily got my arm twisted by (you guessed it) Rebecca.  I figured a couple of drinks wouldn't interfere with my 6 am wake up call as I am known for missing my flights.  This year was different, I had turned over a new leaf and I would be damned if the bolt cutters were going be involved this year.  We walked back over to the hotel to meet up with Rebecca's poker player friend, Sven, and that's when we bumped in to sweetie Erin Argue (BetUS Partners) who reluctantly agreed to join us for some drinks.  We followed the yellow brick road all the way to the Red Light District.  No not for that - trust me I popped my cherry years ago.  However, I did hear that a certain affiliate manager I met from a very large gambling company popped his Red Light District cherry this year.  That's my boy!!  There were a scarcity of bars opened for us damn Americans to drink the night away but we were able to find a few.  Bar hopping was key as we closed down one bar only to move to the next and the next until we found one that seemed to be filled with the true alcoholics.  The night was getting late for poor Jenny who had to wake up in 4 hours - so I said my goodbyes to my partners in crime and departed for my solo walk back to the Krasnapolsky.  And yes, I did ask for directions the whole way back.  Hey - at least I remember the damn hotels name this time.

I was on point waking up at 5:45 am (trust me - I shocked the hell out of myself too) and was not looking forward in bringing my 2 suitcases, laptop bag and purse down those three sets of steep stairs.  Tommy did help me this time as I think he felt that he needed to redeem himself after not helping Jenny bring everything up those damn stairs.  Thank you my "knight in shining armor".  Waiting for Chris to get downstairs at the scheduled 6:45 AM meeting time, we bumped into (you guessed it again) Rebecca who just dropped off Ms. Argue after a night cap with Sven.  Oh how I've rubbed off on her!  Thanks for the good laughs girl.

Overall, I have to say that this was a great trip and I'm glad that I was able to attend this years CAC conference.  Thanks again to Marc Lesnick for involving little ole Jenny in a fun event.

Stay turned for my next article on how I got shafted by E-40 of the Westside Connection crew.

The guys holding Jenny are from the rap group West Side Connection.  Jenny had their bodyguard curling her in the bar.

The guy Jenny is kissing was the host of the party named Adriaan Brink of  (US Blackjack.com))

In the group shots at the very end, is Chris Taylor from Affiliate Club, Hans from Mini Vegas Group, Jenny and Adriaan Brink.
