Details of ‘Secret’ Gambling Probe, Informants Identities Published on City Website
The City of West Palm Beach made a massive blunder Friday morning, as revealed exclusively by Gossip Extra.
The city website is reporting that the city spent three long hours deleting confidential information that detailed a secret law enforcement plan to take down local drug and gambling gangs, even naming confidential informants and undercover agents.
Police called frantically to the city demanding they take the information down.
Over the weekend, Palm Beach County Sheriff’s officials and West Palm Beach Police higher-ups were scrambling to find their confidential informants to warn them of the potentially-deadly security breach, Gossip Extra noted.
“It was page after page of investigative work,” said our witness, who asked not to be named. “There was something about a raid on a property on Indiantown Road (in Jupiter) coming up this week and how the bad guy is driving an Escalade.
“There were the names of the informants and police undercovers, and how they had bought what drugs and where and when. There were addresses and phone numbers of suspects who have not been arrested, clinics and oxycodone things. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.”
West Palm Beach Mayor Jeri Muoio would not comment on the blunder.
