BetJamaica.com Website has Closed its Doors

Following an announcement Saturday July 23 that parent company, TheGreek.com, will be closing to US customers, its recreational arm, BetJamaica.com, will follow suit.

BetJamaica.com has been in business for nearly 8 years, begun as an offshoot of the old Galaxy Sportsbook/Royal Sports.  The company was acquired by TheGreek.com (then known as Olympic Sports).

The abrupt closure seems to result more from a personal decision.  While TheGreek.com claims it will still cater to nonUS customers, the bookmaker catered mostly to US clientele and offers only limited sports betting options to those in other parts of the world with the exception of some soccer matchups.

SportsBookReview.com confirmed the news early Saturday morning

Several dozen employees were expected to be out of work on the island of Jamaica as a result of this closure.

Customers with BetJamaica.com accounts are suggested to join BetDSI.com here, a website that welcomes US sports bettors.  A 20 percent cash bonus will be applied based on initial deposit.
