Wisconsin vs. Minnesota betting odds featured a line of Minnesota -2 ½ at Sportsbetting.com.   Approximately 70 percent of those betting this game were on the Golden Gophers.

Odds on this game opened at -1 ½.  Only around 10 percent of the online sportsbooks were offering the line at Minnesota -2 ½ Friday afternoon, including Sportsbetting.com.  Most of the books had the line at -3 already, the Vegas Hilton and Planet Hollywood included.

From Scouts.com:

"Look for this conference rivalry game to be intense and close. However, Wisconsin is the better team at this point and barring a turnover meltdown, the Badgers will come out on top. Offensively, Wisconsin should be able to move the ball efficiently on the ground, while Tolzien will continue to make big plays off play-action against an undisciplined Minnesota secondary. Decker will come up with a few catches and match the Badgers early, but watch for the Badgers' pass rush to fluster Weber, who has not responded well to pressure, and force a few turnovers that will inevitably do in Minnesota in front of the home crowd."

Wisconsin has won the last 5 in this series, including on the road.  They have won 8 of the last 10 with only one win above the 3 point odds now being offered at some online betting establishments.

Wisconsin vs. Minnesota betting odds trends include:

The Badgers are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 conference games.

The Badgers are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games as an underdog.

The Badgers are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games as a road underdog.

The Golden Gophers are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games after allowing less than 100 yards rushing in their previous game.

The Golden Gophers are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games following a S.U. win.

The Golden Gophers are 3-9-1 ATS in their last 13 home games vs. a team with a winning road record.

The strongest trend of all is Wisconsin's past head-to-head history with Minnesota and that 8-2 record.  Minnesota has improved over this time, which is evident in the line being offered the last time the Badgers played there.  Minnesota was a +13 ½ point underdog.

Gambling911.com says Wisconsin should once again be able to cover that +2 ½ point spread.

Deposit up to $300 and Sportsbetting.com will match that number.  For example:  Open an account with $500 using your credit card or other accepted method and Sportsbetting.com will put another $300 into your account Plus an additional 10 percent bonus (in this case $50).   This offer is for Gambling911.com readers ONLY so click here to open your account!
