Things that make you go Hmmmmm…  The Bills-Patriots game line continues to drift downwards despite over 70% of the action coming in on New England.  Why?

The line has moved down from -9 over the course of the week.

We get that wide receiver Julian Edelman is out with an injury but what we don’t understand is why the oddsmakers have allowed the line to settle in at -7 when action is heavily one-sided going New England’s way.

“You could have bet the Bills at +9 earlier in the week and New England at -7 now,” notes Don Shapiro of Gambling911.com.  “An eight-point victory by the Patriots would result in both bets winning.”

The line has not dipped below the number 7.

“It seems to us that the sportsbooks have a strong opinion that Buffalo can cover here,” Shapiro suggests.

The Patriots enters this game as one of only two teams still undefeated, the other being Carolina.
