2014 Washington Redskins Offense: The Washington Redskins offense is going to be a lot better simply because the Shanahan’s are gone. Robert Griffin III looks healthy again and he has a lot of weapons at his disposal. Joining Robert Morris and Pierre Garcon is DeSean Jackson who has 1,332 yards last year with Philadelphia. The offense line will need to protect RGIII but if he does then this offense is going to put up a lot of points on the board. The bad news is that they may need to score 30 or more in every game since the defense is so poor.
2014 Washington Redskins Defense: The Washington Redskins defense last year was a disaster. The defense was ranked 30th in the league in points allowed. The defense has not been even a top 20 defense in the last four years. The defense should be better this season although that is not saying much. Ryan Clark should help at safety but his best years are behind him. The secondary is just plain bad so if this team is going to do anything on defense they need players like Brian Orakpo to play at a very high level. Putting pressure on opposing quarterbacks will be critical for this defense.
