The Fenway Bowl is named for the venue in which it will be played, Fenway Park in Boston, where the Red Sox play.  It is one of four bowl games played at a baseball field.

Teams from the American Athletic Conference and the Atlantic Coast Conference take part in the Fenway Bowl.

On December 26, 2021, the 2021 edition of the bowl, and what was to be its debut, was canceled due to COVID issues involving the Cavaliers.

Something to consider here is Cincinnati going 9-3 Straight Up on the season but just 3-8-1 Against The Spread.  Oddsmakers likely will want these records to better align to conclude the season.

Who Do the Line Trends Favor?

Cincinnati is a +1.5 dog in this game.  Gambling911.com comes up with a number of Cardinals 2.61, resulting in a 1-point underlay.

Considerations

There are two interim coaches and a slew of missing players, making this one a tough game to bet.

Louisville won't have quarterback Malik Cunningham, who opted out of the game to prepare for the NFL Draft.  Brock Domann (866 passing yards this season) will be replacing Cunningham as the starter for this bowl game.

Cardinals' running back Tiyon Evans and cornerback Kei'Trel Clark also pulled out to prepare for the draft.

Standout Louisville receiver Tyler Hudson also will be unavailable.

As for Cincinnati, receiver Tre Tucker and tight end Josh Whyle opted out to prepare for the draft, while first-team All-American Athletic Association cornerback Ja'Quan Sheppard departed and announced he is transferring to Maryland.

Gambling911.com has not typically monitored games where the line range appeared between a PICK'EM and 2.
