We won’t even discourage folks from wagering on the Patriots to win the AFC East here with a steep price tag of -1100. You would have to bet $1100 to win $100. But that might be an easy $100 profit if you happen to have $1100 laying around (the $1100 is of course refunded should they win).
Every indication is that the reigning Super Bowl champion Patriots will be even better this year. Another Super Bowl win is possible and at a decent price of 3/1 at most books.
The safe bet is the OVER 12.5 at -120. There are those pundits who believe the Pats can go 16-0.
Tight end Rob Gronkowski had back surgery and has only played two full seasons in his career, a result of injuries. The Patriots might have more trouble than last year should Gronkowski go down again as Martellus Bennett is no longer around to fill in the void.
