Heading into Monday night’s football game, Gambling911.com Senior Reporter Carrie Stroup’s NFL record was 4-1.  Her Week 2 NFL picks for Sunday went 2-0.  Another pick on the San Francisco 49ers at +6 is still pending.

And just like last week, Stroup pulled off her winning ways by selecting home underdogs:  The Detroit Lions at +6 ½.  They lost by 3 points and therefore managed to cover.

The New York Jets not only covered their +3 point line against the New England Patriots, they won by a score of 28-14.

The Patriots and Eagles, both of which failed to cover, received the most betting action on Sunday.  The gambling public was crushed with these games.

Ms. Stroup did not fair as well with her College Football plays, which went 2-3.

Sportsbook.com moved the line on New Orleans to -5 ½ for the Monday Night Football game as bettors flocked to take advantage of Carrie’s Lions pick.
