The Washington Redskins odds to win the 2014 Super Bowl are a bit long at 37/1 at Bookmaker.  This is great for sports bettors who believe RG3 could have a legitimate shot at winning the title if everything falls into place.

Great news for Washington fans as all 11 starters on offense from last year are back.  For those of you who think the Skins can’t get it done, consider that Washington was ranked fourth in the NFL last year in scoring and fifth in yards in 2012.

So what about the defense?

Here is where things get a little bit iffy.  Washington didn’t add any new starters despite being just 22nd in points allowed last season. However, Coordinator Jim Haslett will welcome back his best pass rusher, Brian Orakpo, and his most proven safety, Brandon Meriweather.

Defense will need to improve if the Skins are going to have a legitimate shot at a Super Bowl appearance.

Early on things are looking average in that department but with a solid offense, Washington could easily slip into the post season in an otherwise questionable NFC East division.
