Two Employees Involved in Attempted Murder-Suicide at Casino

SHAWNEE, Okla. – (Associated Press) - One person is dead and another injured after what appears to be an attempted murder-suicide at the Grand Casino in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

The Pottawatomie County sheriff told KFOR that two employees at the Grand Casino in Shawnee were involved in a shooting around 7 a.m. Tuesday morning.

At this time, officials say it appears to be an attempted murder-suicide.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene, officials told KFOR.

The other person was transported to a local hospital. Their condition is unknown at this time.

KFOR is working to gather more information.
