Texans 2016 Super Bowl Odds 30-1 With Brock Osweiler Deal

The news comes just two days after Broncos starting quarterback Peyton Manning confirmed his retirement.  Osweiler acted as the Broncos backup quarterback and started for some games during Manning’s injury this past season.  Denver ultimately went on to win the Super Bowl.

Osweiler will be joined by former Miami Dolphins running back Lamar Miller, who has agreed to a four-year, $26 million contract with the Texans, a source told Schefter.

The Broncos were 5-2 in games Osweiler started in 2015, though he was pulled in the third quarter of the regular-season finale.  He finished the season with 1,967 yards passing with 10 touchdowns and six interceptions. He had three games with at least 296 yards passing.

Houston finished the 2015-2016 season with a 9-7 record despite having started four different quarterbacks over this time.
