Tampa Bay Bucs vs. Washington Redskins Line From Even to -3
The Tampa Bay Bucs vs. Washington Redskins line was among the most fluid as of late Thursday. Gambling911.com actually noted some 6 different lines across Internet sportsbooks. The Vegas books were not exactly in agreement either. While the Hilton had a line favoring Tampa Bay at -1.5, most of its competitors were listing odds of -2.5. And, yes, with the exception of the even odds, Tampa Bay was an away favorite in this game.
The trend has been for the line to drop in favor of the Redskins. BetED.com, for example, opened at -3 in favor of Tampa Bay. The line has since moved down to -2 there.

The Bucs have been among the biggest surprises this NFL season and remain in the Playoffs hunt despite being stuck in a division that includes the likes of Atlanta and the reigning Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints. They’ve stumbled a bit in recent weeks, losing 2 straight, both to winning teams. Tampa Bay’s record remained at 7-5.
The Redskins come into this game having lost two straight as well. They are in more dire straits, however. Washington is 3 games out of contention in the NFC East and not likely to make the Playoffs. The Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Giants are tied at the top with 8 wins each.
The home team has won the last three in this series dating back to 2006. Each of those games were won by 6 points or less.
The Redskins are 2-8-6 ATS in their last 16 games as an underdog of 0.5-3.0.
The Buccaneers are 3-10 ATS in their last 13 games as a road favorite and are 3-13 ATS in their last 16 games as a road favorite of 0.5-3.0. Strangely enough, the Bucs are also 10-1 ATS in their last 11 road games, where they were typically NOT a favorite.
Tampa Bay is 6-13 ATS in their last 19 games following a Straight Up loss.
They have performed rather well vs. losing teams, going 4-0 ATS.
