Super Bowl 49 featured an overnight line of New England Patriots -1 with 73% of the action going the Pats way at nearly all the books but the oldest established North American book, Bookmaker, was now offering Seattle at -1. “Sharp action is likely coming in on Seattle in the final 24 hours,” remarked Don Shapiro of Gambling911.com.
The line had moved to Seahawks -1 at 5:20 pm EST Saturday and was holding into the overnight hours.
“Those backing New England should jump all over this line,” suggested Shapiro.
While Seattle initially opened as a -3 favorite, the line was quickly pushed to a PICK’EM within hours after the Patriots-Colts game had concluded. The line has moved all the way to Patriots -1.5 at some books.
