The Sunday Night Football betting odds on the Giants vs. Packers had Green Bay at -7 with a total of 48.  The line on this game has remained relatively steady while moving briefly to either -6.5 or -7.5.  Betting should still be brisk on this game despite going up against the second US Presidential Debate.

How Have These Two Teams Matched Up in the Past

These teams have not met since 2013 but faced one another a total of five times between 2010 and that year.  The Giants won the last three games in the series while covering in the last four.

Hot Trends to Consider for This Sunday Night Football Game

The Packers are 5-1 Against The Spread as a home favorite of 3.5 to 7 points and 11-2 ATS off a division win.

Will New York Have a Competitive Edge Here?

The Giants are seeking a franchise milestone, going for its 700th victory.

Ben McAdoo, the Giants' offensive coordinator, left the Packers after the 2013 season.  This is a critical piece of knowledge for those betting this Sunday Night Football game.

McAdoo spent the final two years of his career at Green Bay as Rodgers' position coach, and got to know the five-time Pro Bowl quarterback as well as anyone.

"Aaron is a little older and wiser. Fundamentally he's always been one of the best in the league; it's always fun to see guys you used to coach and how they develop.

A competitive edge?

"I think some of the foundations, a lot of the fundamentals, a lot of those are the same," McAdoo said.

"I think some of the core principles, schematically the reads might be the same in the pass game the fundamentals in the run game might be very similar, but things have all been changed when you move on.

"Aaron - as well as Mike (McCarthy) and the rest of the staff - does a good job of looking to self-scout and evaluate their own team," he added.
