Who could have ever imagined we would see the spread on the Bears-Lions Monday Night Football game at -5 favoring Detroit. After years of mediocrity (and worse), this year’s Lions team is for real and are one of only two undefeated teams left (the other being Green Bay).
Chicago has owned this series over the last 6 games and 3 seasons, however, half these games were close enough that Detroit managed to cover the spread in 3 of those 6 games.
Brian Blessing and Pat Williams of Don Best TV were quick to note that the line had moved down in favor of Chicago from -7.
“Defensively, this team has to play better defense,” Williams noted in regard to Chicago. “The D-line of the Lions is no joke. It’s no secret any more.”
