Spain v Ireland odds for the Euro 2012 were available at WagerWeb.com here, where qualified customers receive up to US$1000 in FREE CASH.

The price tag on Spain was pretty steep at 1/4 while Ireland would pay out close to US$130 for every US$10 bet.  The Draw would pay close to US$50 for every US$10 bet

Winning margin betting was available at WagerWeb.com, offering plenty more value.

Ireland is actually getting around 25 percent of the betting action thanks to the rather high payout potential

As one might expect, Ireland has not fared well against Spain in the past.  They have won only four of their 24 official meetings against Spain, losing 13.

Ireland have beaten La Roja just twice in their last 14 official meetings, both by 1-0.

These two sides have met just once in major tournaments - Spain had the better on penalty shootout in the 2002 World Cup (1-1 after extra-time).

La Roja are unbeaten in their last seven games in the European Championship finals (five wins, two draws).

The draw against Italy ended a six-game winning streak for Spain in major tournaments, all coming in the 2010 World Cup.

Ireland have won just one of their last eight games in major tournaments (3-0 vs Saudi Arabia in the 2002 WC).
