Brock Purdy's total passing yards prop bet for Saturday night's game between the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers comes in at over/under 245.5. Sam Darnold has the same exact passing yards total.
Purdy completed 24-of-33 passes for 303 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception in the 49ers’ 42-38, Week 17 win over the Bears, adding 28 yards and two touchdowns on six carries.
From NBC Edge:
Purdy’s only blemish on an otherwise spectacular outing occurred on the first offensive play from scrimmage, when a tipped ball resulted in a pick-six to ignite the game environment in what would become one of the games of the season. The former Mr. Irrelevant completely willed the team to victory to keep their chances of the No. 1 seed in the NFC intact, something they’ll battle the Seahawks for on Sunday night. Arguably the most insane play was a touchdown pass to Kyle Juszczyk towards the end of the third quarter in which Purdy avoided two separate would-be sacks before nonchalantly flipping the ball to the perimeter for a score to his fullback. There were numerous highlight reel plays for Purdy on the evening — who finally looks healthy and is showing to be more than a Shanahan-driven point-and-click quarterback right now.
Darnold completed 18-of-27 passes for 147 yards, one touchdown and an interception in the Seahawks’ 27-10, Week 17 win over the Panthers.
Darnold also fumbled twice, losing one of them. He was lucky to escape with “just” two giveaways, as the defender failed to complete the catch process on what would have been a horrid second pick. Today’s shaky performance comes after last week’s stirring rally against the Rams, which itself came after an awful first half. Darnold has appeared far more “regular Darnold” in the second half of the season, but he has yet to crash to the degree he did for the Vikings in 2024’s biggest games. Hopefully that doesn’t happen in Week 18 as the ‘Hawks try to nail down the conference’s No. 1 seed against the 49ers.
