Seahawks-Steelers Line

The idea that Pittsburgh was embarrassed last year in Baltimore and Seattle can’t play on the road perhaps has prompted oddsmakers to release the Seahawks-Steelers line at -14.  Some books have the spread as high as -15.5.

Pittsburgh shut out Seattle at home in 2007 by a score of 21-0.

There is a great stat we like here at Gambling911.com whereby the Steelers are 11-4-1 Against The Spread in their last 16 games following a Straight Up loss of more than 14 points.

The Steelers are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following a S.U. loss.

Pittsburgh is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following a ATS loss.

The Steelers are 6-1 ATS vs. a team with a losing record.

The Steelers are 11-4 ATS in their last 15 games after allowing more than 150 yards rushing in their previous game.

The Seahawks are 16-37-1 ATS in their last 54 road games.

The Seahawks are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games as an underdog of 10.5 or greater.

Seattle is 2-12 ATS in their last 14 games on grass.

The Seahawks are 6-21-1 ATS in their last 28 games after allowing less than 250 total yards in their previous game.

While we don’t normally recommend betting such a huge spread, this one has Steelers dismantling written all over it.  They will be seeking to prove themselves after last week’s embarrassing loss and, what better opportunity than to rip apart a team that can’t play on the road, let alone head to a completely different time zone backwards.

Xavier Worthy = Tyreek Hill 2.0?  Perhaps, and if that comes to fruition at any point in the future, the Bills only have themselves to blame.

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
