After trouncing the Detroit Lions at home, The Saints vs. 49ers line opened with San Francisco as a rare home underdog of +3.5.  Bookmaker.eu, which has been serving the sports betting public since 1985, was offering this line.  Get up to $2500 in FREE CASH based on your initial deposit.  Bet from your mobile phones, iPads and wager on this game LIVE.

The 49ers' regular season record in 2011 is their best since another 13-win season in 1997 under another rookie coach, Steve Mariucci.  They will come into this game with a week off.  The 49ers finished the 2011 regular season with 10 turnovers, which tied the 2010 Patriots for the fewest in a single season.

San Francisco will face a Saints team that crushed Detroit 45-28 on Saturday and is listed with slightly longer than 3 to 1 odds of winning the 2012 Super Bowl.   But, for the Saints to move beyond San Francisco and win their third NFC championship game in six seasons, they'll have to do something they've never done before -- win a road playoff game.

In their defeat of the Lions Saturday,  New Orleans starting quarterback Drew Brees threw for 466 yards and three touchdowns.

"We were pulling out all the stops," Brees said. "We play aggressive. We're not going to apologize for that. That gives guys in the huddle a lot of confidence. We're not going to pull the reins back. It's pedal to the medal."

Brees hit on 33 of 43 passes while throwing for the most yards in a regulation playoff game. He highlighted his night with three completions of at least 40 yards.

"We just focus on winning. We're not focused on yards and records," Saints coach Sean Payton said. "I'm serious when I say that."
