Saints-Jaguars Line

The Saints-Jaguars line opened at -9 and has since dropped down to -7 in favor of New Orleans.  This is a bit strange in that nearly 90 percent of those betting the spread were backing the Saints at -8.  Gambling911.com does not have betting action data as it pertains to the opening line.

Try figuring out what to do with this stat:  The Saints are 1-9 Against The Spread vs. a team with a losing record, however, they are also 10-4 ATS in their last 14 road games vs. a team with a losing home record.  Jacksonville is 2-9 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.

The Saints are 5-12 ATS in their last 17 games following a S.U. win.  The Jags are 7-15 ATS in their last 22 games following a S.U. loss and 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games following a ATS loss.

The key to a Saints victory might rest with Marques Colston returning to the team from injury.  New Orleans is already the highest scoring offense without him.

More Follows The Video…

Since the start of the 2008 season, the Saints have scored 30 or more points in 26 of 51 regular-season games -- the most by any team.

"If you do things the right way, good things are going to happen," said Brees, who has thrown a TD pass in 30 consecutive games to tie Dan Marino for the third-longest streak in NFL history.

Only the Denver-Green Bay and New England-Oakland games had higher totals this week than the Saints-Jaguars.  The total on this game was 45 at press time.
