Redskins vs. Bears Line at -1.5 Chicago: All Eyes on Robert Griffin III

The Redskins vs. Bears line had Chicago as a -1.5 favorite at Bookmaker.eu, though some books had the line at a PICK’EM or EVEN odds.

All eyes are likely to be on Washington Redskins rookie starting quarterback Robert Griffin III, who could help guide this team to a division win.  The odds of this happening are quite long, but at 10-1, there is definitely some great value to be had.

John Kleim of CBS Sports made this observation regarding Griffin III:

Redskins QB Robert Griffin III was poised in the pocket vs. Buffalo and made accurate, quick throws. He was not under duress on any dropbacks (though he had some pressure on a bootleg). It would be helpful to see how Griffin handles throwing under duress, something that every QB must master. Also, Chicago’s cover 2 will force him to be patient.

Washington has won the last four in this series.  62 percent of the bets were coming in on the Skins.  Brian Urlacher will be out for Chicago.

Xavier Worthy = Tyreek Hill 2.0?  Perhaps, and if that comes to fruition at any point in the future, the Bills only have themselves to blame.

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
