Redskins-Bills Spread

After opening at -4.5, the Redskins-Bills spread was now at -5.5.  85 percent of those betting the spread were backing Buffalo here so expect this line to go up even further prior to game time.

Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has just agreed to a 6-year $59 million deal, which should be a nice little motivating factor coming into Sunday’s game.  After all, he was only making a $3.22 million base salary this season.

"It's been a long road. There's been a lot of hurdles and obstacles that I've had to overcome," Fitzpatrick said. "I think we've got this thing headed in the right direction. So to be a part of that, and to be able to continue to be a part of that for years to come, I'm really excited about it."

The 4-2 Bills are averaging 31.3 points per game.

They have the fourth-ranked rushing attack, which averages 141.0 yards, faces a Redskins defense that's surrendered 367 rushing yards in the last two weeks -- both losses.

Please note that this is technically a neutral site since it will be played in Toronto.

Brian Blessing of DonBest.com notes that all three games played in Toronto to date have been “deader than a door nail”.  Each of these games have gone under, he also noted.

Because this is a 4-2 Bills team, there could be more life in the building.  The roof is expected to be closed so weather will not be a factor.

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
