The Raiders Vikings line had Oakland as a -1 point road favorite Sunday.   Nearly 95 percent of the spread action was going the Raiders way.

Stan Simmons of BetOnline.com noted:  “The Raiders should be able to snag a victory, although it’s not going to be an easy game as they could have some big problems with Peterson, who will be out for a big game after not getting a lot of work on Monday. Oakland is 4-0 ATS on the road this year and they have a lot more to play for than the Vikings, so look for them to come out inspired and use some big plays against a depleted Minnesota secondary. Make Oakland your pick to cover the spread this week.”

A few downsides to be aware of before betting on the Raiders Vikings game

The Raiders are 0-6 Against The Spread in their last 6 games on fieldturf.

The Vikings are 2-8-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.

The Vikings are 0-6-1 ATS in their last 7 games as a home underdog of 0.5-3.0.
